Keynote Speaker:Zhang Xianming

Abstract:

This paper is mainly discussed from two parts, namely, the stability analysis and control design of non-uniform sampling system and the stability analysis of time-delay system. First, some latest results of the ring function method for sampling systems are given, and discussions on how to design the controller according to the stability criteria obtained by the cyclic functional method are made. Second, a new method for stability analysis of time-delay systems is elaborated.

Speaker Introduction:

Zhang Xianming is now an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Swinburne University of Technology in Australia. He was conferred upon the master degree of Applied Mathematics and the doctoral degree of Control Theory and Control Engineering by Central South University in 1992 and 2006, respectively. He started to work for Swinburne University of Technology since July 2016, and has published nearly 40 papers in authoritative journals in the field of control including Automatica and IEEE Transactions since 2005. His papers have been cited by SCI for nearly 6,000 times, with h-index of 38 and 30 papers listed as ESI ones. He won the First Prize of Hunan Natural Science Award and the Second Prize of State Natural Science Award in 2011 and 2013, respectively, and was included in Highly Cited Researchers (Clarivate Analytics) in 2019. He is mainly engaged in the research of event-driven control, network control, H-infinity estimation, neural network, multi-agent systems, time-delay systems and their application. He serves as Associate Editor-in-Chief of several international journals, such as IEEE Trans. Cybernetics, Journal of Franklin Institute, Neurocomputing and Neural Processing Letters.
